So, if it isn’t clear by now, I’m going to IPFW for a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. HOWEVER, I just took placement tests today, and basic high school algebra is what they want me to take. That’s bullshit. They didn’t have writing utensils and paper. I have a high school transcript showing A’s and B’s in algebra. I am not taking high school over again.

Past this, I’m not paying for it either. They’ll never get that money back. The issue is they want us to take more classes. College looks like it might be grounds for haggling. Like a car dealership. I’m just not buying the game right now.

I’ve made more mods to the Newsprint theme, including the fixed header. I will update that post when I have re-factored everything down. Also fixed are the non-thumbnail’d posts, link colors, etc. However, fixing link colors introduced a new bug (aka regression) in the categories menu on the single post page. I need to re-organize the theme files, break things apart into manageable templates, and generally make this clean. Eventually I won’t have time to properly fix this stuff, so I’m doing as much as I can now to ease that during my transition to college.
